• Proofing

• High-speed inkjet printing

Inkjet printing is a non-contact printing process in which a printed image is created by the targeted firing or deflection and control of small ink droplets.
 

A distinction is made between the following printing processes:

• Continuous InkJet
• Drop On Demand

Inkjet inks are divided into

• Water-based inks
  • Dye inks
  • Pigment inks
• Solvent-based inks
• Oil-based inks
   

With all printing processes and inks, the quality of the print result depends decisively on the paper used. The best results are achieved with specially coated inkjet papers - such as our FJORD JET® grades.

Here, the ink is fixed in the ink-receiving layer and does not penetrate the pulp fibres. This results in excellent, impressively sharp printed images. The special ink-receiving layer enables the reproduction of a particularly wide colour gamut, fast drying and best ink compatibility. And leads to significant savings in ink consumption.
